Uniform Swap

We all received our team uniform when we arrived in Cologne.  It’s made by Asics and comes from Japan, where the average athlete is clearly a lot smaller than we are.  I couldn’t pull up the tights over my thighs without difficulty.  Luckily we’ve been able to do some swaps, and an extra shipment will arrive here today from Australia.  I swapped with some of Jana’s gear- she doesn’t need hers. 

Around 10 athletes are competing today in different meets…Brussels, Germany, Amsterdam.  It must be hard for the 4*400m girls, they are still fighting for a spot on the team.  Weather today: cloudy and 31 degrees.
