Time Free

My children have both gone on holiday with friends for a couple of days, leaving Marty and I home for a change.

We still had to go to work each day, but I’d forgotten what life was like before becoming a parent.  It was amazing…we went for a bike ride together, I did my running session in peace, we went out for dinner and we went to the Savoy Baths.

There was still so much time, I even did some cooking and played the piano for the first time in ages.  It’s very quiet though and I’ll be happy when they’re home.
